1st Stage: Letter Before Action (LBA) or Late Payment Demand (LPD)

– LBA: Debtors are given 7 days to pay before court proceedings are initiated. Cost: £15.00 + VAT.

– LPD: Applicable for business-to-business debts. Allows compensation, reasonable debt collection costs, and interest at an annual rate of 8% for late payments. Compensation:
– £0.01-£999.99: £40.00
– £1000.00-£9999.99: £70.00
– £10,000.00+: £100.00

2nd Stage: Court Proceedings

If payment is not received, we will commence court proceedings upon your instruction. The debtor has 14 days to respond. Fixed fees for handling these matters range from £200.00 to £500.00, excluding court fees.

3rd Stage: Enforcement

If the claim is admitted, we will request a County Court Judgment (CCJ). Enforcement options include:
– Attachment of earnings
– Charging orders
– Bankruptcy proceedings
– Bailiff action
– Court-ordered instalment orders
-Return of Goods Orders
